| Personal Bio/ Summary | Hi there, I am Sam and I am originally from Stockport in the Northwest of England (my accent also gives this away!). I lived in Toulouse in the South of France for seven years before finally calling Australia home when I was seconded to Adelaide (SA) in March 2003. How lucky am I? I founded Spending Made Easy in July 2016, after being made redundant from BAE Systems 12 months before. I did some great volunteer work during my 12 months off, and I even raised a Guide Dog Puppy “Monty” (do not set me off!). At Spending Made Easy we are experts at budgeting, and we take all the stress, worry, panic, uncertainty, and often sleepless nights out of your mundane and tedious day-to-day finances and budgeting. We even help partners stop arguing with each other over money… We change lives!! It is fabulous and I LOVE it. Our aim is to support and guide our clients so that they can manage their own day-to-day finances going forward. We give them all the tips and tricks that they need to set them up for life! Plus… our awesome software keeps them bang up-to-date and focused. It allows them to see their financial future before they get there (it is a bit like a crystal ball, but for your personal finances)! You can avoid that freight train because you can literally see it coming! I absolutely LOVE what I do, and I am on a mission to get as many people as possible with a Spending Plan! Spending Plans change lives. We have many (many, many) success stories. |

| Who I'm looking to connect with - my ideal referral partner | My ideal referral partners are Financial Planners. Legally they have to know/do/help people with their personal budgets. I have not met one who enjoys it. Good job that I love it. Other ideal referral partners could be Mortgage Brokers (assisting first homebuyers), etc. Plus, any other financial institutions; Bookkeepers, Accountants, and the like. The majority of our clients are single Mums and I love helping them all too! |

| About My Business | Sam can help you with your own personal, individual spending/budgeting. She will keep you on track and help you plan for the future, or help you get on the right track if you need some gentle guidance and support. She has even written a book called "Budgeting is Crap" (because it is, right?) and has appeared and been interviewed on live radio and events in America and South Africa as well as here in Australia. She runs workshops to get people "Nailing their Budget" (once and for all) and also accepts invitations to be a guest speaker at events that have budgeting and finance in their agenda – she can tailor her presentation accordingly (survivors of domestic violence for example). |
