Working in the social service and family law sector for over 7 years, working with parents and children in schools and the mediation process, facilitating high conflict disputes, and using my counselling skills to support clients, I have gained a reputation for getting to the heart of the issues to help people move forward.  I have facilitated many groups and events in the post separation sector and in that time have gained a wealth of knowledge around processes and support services available for struggling parents navigating the journey of their separation.

I was always fascinated by  people’s relationships and family dynamics but started to really educate myself with the theories, knowledge and skills over the last 10 years. My passion comes partially from my life experiences of being a child of divorced parents, being married and divorced myself, being a mother and step-mother myself and then expanding on that personal co-parenting experience with professional education and work experience.

Completing a Bachelors degree in Counselling, Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution, then furthering my education with advanced counselling skills, collaborative practice training and child consultation training, I now want to support as many families as I can to connect as best they can.

Sometimes our past can impact on our present, which will prevent change for future and I hope to provide both practical and emotional tools in supporting individuals to grow in the change they are looking for.
