Hi all, if you have been tuned into any form of news within the news in the last 3 months, you may have come across a breakthrough technology called Chat GPT. Chat GPT is a chat bot that uses artificial intelligence to hold human like conversations. Microsoft Bing (the forgotten search engine) will be using the open AI technology, with a waitlist of over 1 million people to try it.
Will the search landscape change dramatically in the future with Open AI? It is highly possible that our customers will start to prefer Bing as their search engine. Why? It will allow the user to ask complex questions and follow up questions – ie hold a conversation. I have written an article here which goes into it in a little more detail and how we can prepare. I wonder if anyone else sees a revolution coming – or is it a futile attempt given the power of Google? Best Regards, JR

Hi Jon. Thanks for the update and advice regarding Chat GPT.
I can definitely see a part of the market shift to Bing given that Microsoft Teams has been utilised as a go to communication tool for many businesses.
Being a microsoft office user myself, I can see these apps use this Open AI and elevate how we document and strategise using Microsoft Office. Interesting times ahead.
